1. I reside in Austin, TX. It is great here. Although quite liberal, it’s not as whacked out as the bay area of California (yet). I moved back home to Texas from California in January, 2008. That was a happy New Year. Although there are good things about the bay area – scenery, weather, meeting my partner, acquiring the best little white dog in the world and some good friends, it’s a nanny state. I don’t like nanny states.
2. I’m conservative. I make no apologies about it. I believe that the less government, the better. Fair taxes and national security are all I desire. Leave the rest to the states and don’t take away my trans fat if I decide I want some.
3. I love this country. It has provided more opportunities for more people than any in the history of mankind. I also realize it has its faults. That comes with the territory. More people still try to get in here than anywhere else.
4. I respect, admire and envy our troops. Most American people do not get that the reason for the second sentence in #3 is because of our military. When I see them in uniform, I will frequently, unashamedly, thank them for their service to our country.
5. I believe sincerely that the greatest threat to this nation is the rise of militant Islam. Most American people do not get that either. The mainstream, lamestream media suppresses this information under the banner of political correctness. Everyone should get along. Guess what? They don’t. As their numbers increase, as their youth adopt radical ideology, as their apologists through CAIR and other muslim organizations gain foothold in American society, our basic freedom of speech and the manner in which we conduct our personal lives everyday will perish. The muslim community will not assimilate. That isn’t happening in the UK and it won’t happen here. It is not a religion of peace, but a force of evil and the words of the Koran ensure that the destruction will continue. Google Mahmound Ahmadinejad.
“When you have a regime that would be happier in the afterlife than in this life, this is not a regime that is subject to classic theories of deterrence.” John Bolton.
The other greatest threat to the United States of America is Barack Obama as President. I think he is a Marxist. There is no way to convince me that he and his supporters, such as George Soros, Moveon.org, the Daily Kos (kiddies) and the other leftist moonbats, care one iota about anything but taking down this country.
By the way, I am a supporter of Israel and Jewish people everywhere. I will fight with everything I have to support Israel – everything.
6. I am a Christian. I certainly don’t profess to always act like one and I can be sullen, selfish and self absorbed at times, but I believe in Jesus Christ with all my heart. I believe His words literally.

Good to see another person on the same side of the jihad issue.
